Impact starts with a change, so our system had to start with a change.  A cyclical system, something more akin to what we'd find in nature fit best.  Something is born, it lives, it dies, it is returned to support new life.  The Woodsy model mimics that - driving revenue from fallen trees into stewarding new and existing trees.

Have you ever seen a tree with an orange dot on it?  That means it’s slated to be removed.  Take a picture and connect with us.  We want to track the trees coming down to return them to your neighbourhood. 

We are working with local arborists and the City of Toronto to save these logs from being chipped.  So far we've sequestered more than 400 tonnes of CO2 - that's almost 100 vehicles off the road!  We are just getting started and need your help.

We provide all the services necessary to help us use these trees that once formed the fabric of our city - from salvaging, milling & kiln drying wood, to selling kiln dried wood or easiest yet - to choose from a simple line of affordable and functional pieces in our Urban Forest Collection.  The Woodsy goal - celebrating Toronto Wood. 

From local tree nurseries, to sculpture, to Woodsy Walks - it's about raising awareness and optimizing our beautiful and fascinating Urban Forest.
